Artificial intelligence is the intelligence of machines or software, as opposed to the intelligence of other living beings, primarily humans. It is a field of study in computer science that develops and studies intelligent machines. Such machines may be called AIs. The first time I started using AI was when I got to college, I had heard about AI a little bit in high school, but I did not trust using it to help with my work. "My AI" was introduced to Snapchat and It was ALL THE RAGE. People in my class were texting it to ask questions and help with their work. At that time, I was so scared of the "My AI" feature, and I didn't even update my Snapchat to get that feature until months later. Once I finally updated my Snapchat, I still didn't use the "My AI" feature until a question popped into my head. I got curious and asked the "My AI" and was shocked when it came back with an immediate answer, I was still a little creeped out by the new feature, so I only used it sporadically.

I truly started to use AI when I got into college. For one of my classes, we had to write an essay every week, I wasn't doing super good on my essays and a couple people in my class mentioned using AI. After the 2nd or 3rd essay, I decided to try AI for my next essay, I was absolutely amazed when my essay came back with a 93! All I had to do was put in my prompt and it gave me points that I could cover in the essays. I started using it to help me check all the prompt points for my essays and it really helped me have a good opening and closing on my essay. I know many professors are strict about AI so I always stay very cautious when using the tool.

AI is expected to continue growing. The Market for artificial intelligence is expected to show strong growth in the coming decade, with its value of nearly 100 billion U.S dollars. There is talk that AI will continue to grow and grow until it advances so much that it will take over people's jobs. There is an expected growth rate of 37.3% between 2023 and 2030.
